Onlinebusiness copywriter, Lyzelle, has been around for a while.... she happily admits to the wisdom of 60+. She cut her 'writer's teeth' on Springbok Radio, writing radio scripts for the popular Afrikaans serials broadcast every afternoon. A two-year stint as a journalist ended when she refused to write any more 'bad news strories' and she became a full-time student. (aged 30-something, divorced with 4 sons), freelance writer/translator and riding instructress. From there on to teaching, then residential child care, then freelance remedial teaching - and then she flew off into the sunset to teach in London.

She lasted two months in the Britsh Education System then ran away and joined a circus - graduating from Candy Floss lady to Director of PR & Marketing in one inspired step. For the next four years Lyzelle lived the glorious life of a gypsy in her campervan - touring the UK with the circus in summer and caring for the elderly during the winter. During this time she began writing stories for the American Children's Magazines market and studied marketing, copywriting and design, making use of all the 'distance education' opportunities in the UK and USA.

Eventually in 2005 the lure of growing grandchildren brought her back to SA - and Onlinebusiness. She settled down to respectablility (well... sort of...) in Gordon's Bay from where she plies her trade as Copywriter and Marketing Advisor for Onlinebusiness and offers her services as "Writer-for-Hire" to anyone who needs any (Ghost)writing done.
