Dimitri
and his wife, Nicky, returned to Cape Town after touring the world as
Circus Stars for 17 years and together they have built up The South African
National Circus with the purpose of offering children and alternative
career in Circus Performing Arts.
Many of their young
trainees have already moved on to achieve international recognition and
The South African National Circus has performed successfully at many local
and National events and festivals.
Dedicated to the creation
of alternative career options for young people, Dimitri and Nicky strive
to keep a balance between financially viable performances and community
upliftment projects.
They offer a wide
variety of entertainment options (see 'What we offer' below) ranging
from a full circus performance to individual acts, birthday parties, team
building, corporate events and many more.
Educational Schools
Shows are an important part of their community project - helping raise
much needed funds for the schools while they entertain, inspire and motivate.
The young artistes
of The South African National Circus are living proof of what can be achieved
with perseverance, discipline and dedication and they become important
role models to a generation who desperately need peer models of this calibre.
