The South African National Circus is extremely flexible and can cater for any event and any style with a full circus show or individual acts suitable for special events, launches, corporate functions, fun days, carnivals, road shows, cabaret or any other event, promotions or functions. We also do circus workshops and holiday camps.

We can host an event at our premises in Hartleyvale Stadium, Observatory or we can bring our entertainment and equipment to your venue.

Trapeze Acts    Many different forms of daring trapeze acts are available e.g. solo trapeze, double trapeze, triple trapeze, casting trapeze acts, flying trapeze acts. This is one of our specialties 

Cradle Trapeze Act   This act is performed high in the air Two people performing daring swings and static tricks, helicopter necks spins and fake falls on a trapeze, without the aid of a safety net

Rola Skating Acts A sequence of fast spins by 2 artistes  involving lifts, contortions and neck spins 

Bicycle Acts A sequence of spectacular balances and pyramids by a group of artistes on a moving bicycle

Clowning Various clown gags and slap-stick routines in different styles

Rola Balancing Acts   An act consisting of balancing on a rola ball and adding tables to reach a great height. This act can also be done with 2 artistes performing balancing tricks on the rola bola for an extra special twist

Russian Swing  A series of spectacular jumps, leaps and somersaults    through the air from the Russian swing landing on a crash mat

Cloud Swing One or more artistes performing spectacular feats on a double rope, static and swinging .This act is very spectacular and includes breathtaking fake falls

Wire Walking High above the ground on a high wire artistes defy gravity with amazing tricks and feats - even crossing over on a bicycle.

Skipping Acts   A group of artistes performing somersaults, leaps and many other exciting tricks in a lively rope skipping act.

High Diving Artistes diving from various heights into a large net

Contortionists  Our unbelievable specialty act:  THE BOTTLE MAN   .A Huge man contorting himself into a little bottle - the only act of its kind in the world!

Small to MediumStunts    Our people are able to double up as stunt people or stage a stunt event

Phoofy Slide Stunts     We rig our Slide at various venues using our tower, or from buildings and perform spectacular feats on the slide such as toe hangs, heel hanging, sliding down hanging from the neck, e.g. … also sliding across with flags or banners.

Themed Entertainment Themed entertainment in character costumes as requested with dance routines of

a unique and physical nature, or any other physical stunt. This is superb entertainment for launches

We also have equipment for public participation which is very popular for corporate team building and for fun days.   All our equipment is extremely safe and great for all ages. 

An extremely large net raised 2 meters off the ground and surrounded by 2 meter high netting sides so that participants cannot fall out. It is extremely bouncy and can accommodate many participants in one go. Different games and activities can be played on the net. The jumping net is a new and exciting concept and very popular.

The Gladiator Obstacle Course contains 10 obstacle items consisting of overs and unders, climbing cargo nets, crawling nets, wall climbing nets, balancing beams, sway bridges, phoofy slides, tyre jumping and rope swings. The course is extremely exciting for an individual race, a team relay or just for the experience and the fun.

The 120 Meter Phoofy Slide is extremely spectacular and great fun for the whole family. Slide all the way down a 120 meter cable starting from a 10 meter high tower. The slide is perfectly safe and all participants will be harnessed and attached to the slide. For the daring, different ways to slide can be learned. We have various lengths of Phoofy slides available

We have an assortment of towers, winches, cables etc, and we have in the past rigged a trapeze in the Atlantis sand dunes for a shoot, and rigged a high wire for a German TV commercial on Clifton beach. Most recently we rigged two 300 meter Phoofy slides across the Orange River and back in Upington at the Kalahari Festival, and also a 200 meter Slide over the race track at the J & B Met.
